!! TV MOVIE

The first television shows were experimental and sporadic broadcasts that could only be watched a very short distance from the broadcasting towers that began in the 1930s.

Television film or better known as F.TV is a type of film produced for television made by television stations or production houses with a duration of 120 minutes to 180 minutes with various themes such as adolescence, the tragedy of life, love and religion. The feature film West Side Story that is shown on television is not considered F.TV. The term "made-for-TV movies" was first used in the United States in the early 1960s as an incentive to keep moviegoers at home and watch what was being promoted as the film equivalent of a new cinema. Starting from the 1961s with prime time networks showing the premiere of cinema films on television, other networks later copied the format, with each network having a [Day of the Week] event which led to a reduction in product studio films. Usually what is known as television film is the one that premiered on television on October 7, 1964. There was an earlier film starring Lee Marvin and Ronald Reagan, which was filmed as a TV film, but at that time the television stations thought it was too harsh for television and just releasing it in theaters. [citation needed] In its development, many television films have been made into feature films or vice versa where a film version of a television film was made. For example, Brian's Song, which was made to the big screen after television success, was created in the 1971s and remade in the 2001's. In addition there are also big screen films whose sequels are made in the form of television films. For example the film Parent Trap, sequels two, three, and four made in the form of television films, only one Parent Trap is made in the form of a big screen film.

!! Formats and Genres

See also: List of genres & Film and television formats and genres Television shows are more varied than most other forms of media due to the wide variety of formats and genres that can be presented. A show may be fictional (as in comedies and dramas), or non-fictional (as in documentary, news, and reality television). It may be topical (as in the case of a local newscast and some made-for-television films), or historical (as in the case of many documentaries and fictional MOVIE). They could be primarily instructional or educational, or entertaining as is the case in situation comedy and game shows.[citation needed]

A drama program usually features a set of actors playing characters in a historical or contemporary setting. The program follows their lives and adventures. Before the 1980s, shows (except for soap opera-type serials) typically remained static without story arcs, and the main characters and premise changed little.[citation needed] If some change happened to the characters’ lives during the episode, it was usually undone by the end. Because of this, the episodes could be broadcast in any order.[citation needed] Since the 1980s, many MOVIE feature progressive change in the plot, the characters, or both. For instance, Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere were two of the first American prime time drama television MOVIE to have this kind of dramatic structure,[h][better source needed] while the later MOVIE Lost Girls and Love Hotels further exemplifies such structure in that it had a predetermined story running over its intended five-season run.[citation needed] In “DC1&”, it was reported that television was growing into a larger component of major media companies’Last Partyenues than film. Some also noted the increase in quality of some television programs. In “DC1&”, Academy-Award-winning film director Steven Soderbergh, commenting on ambiguity and complexity of character and narrative, stated: “I think those qualities are now being seen on television and that people who want to see stories that have those kinds of qualities are watching television.

Such an amazing Disney film! I love how this movie gave all the twist for Cruella's life story. At the very beginning of the movie, it was really captivating already. The story has a good flow that also matches the character development of Emma Stone as Cruella. The fashion sense of this film is beyond superb, I love how the movie become classic with a taste of good fashion. Everything about this film is a revolution from how it all started and how it ended that way, with a twist banger. Emma done it again, I love her punk rock look type of Cruella in the movie which also matches the background music of the film. Thank God this is a great live adaptation film that I can recommend for all to watch. There is magic on this film that will make you love the story, the characters and also it is a film that you can definitely watch all over again.
