  • device has many scratches and scuffs on the backside, LCD is in fantastic condition
  • I received this device from a trade in the r/gameswap sub about a year ago. Unfortunately, I am not confident enough in my skills to repair this one and I believe you would have to source a chip from another Vita Slim to fix the issue. Pics of the suspected problem area are included in the album.
  • My notes after the initial inspection: powers on and charges, the screen stays black and does not show any indication of powering on, and the left shoulder button is stuck/jammed
  • I also wrote "green blinking light" but I've not been able to reproduce this since checking the device again. The device powers on when charged but does not turn off or react to a hard shutdown (pressing power for 30 seconds).

  • I bought this device from a r/gamesale user who claimed the device wouldn't charge. I took the console apart and didn't see anything that jumped out at me immediately, but was unable to make any headway. No signs of liquid damage. I tried to use a different battery to attempt a power on or charge to no avail. As the device was never powered on in my posession, I have no idea if there are any other issues.
