Stole Money Seller is trying to bypass your website

    @HillyJeol does not want you to go through the middleman services because he is trying to scam you.

    I've suspended this user since he allowed middleman payment via his thread and is now stating he does not accept it. If you didn't accept it, you should have never had a "buy now" on your thread.

    @Wijnand Bekker If you purchased via the "buy now" - when the 3-way ticket appears go to the drop-down menu and hit "cancel order". Do not send money to this user directly.

    How can you protect yourself from these type of scams in the future?
    I strongly recommend in the future to use PlayerUp Middleman Services to protect yourself from these type of scams. Here is how it works for buyers (Buyers Guide) and here is how it works for sellers (Sellers Guide).

    Please read this guide (Guide - Combat Fraud Service). All we need is the scammers full name and address and we can assist you further.

    What can you do next to resolve this issue?
    Since this is a PayPal transaction, you need to immediately go to PayPal and open a dispute hopefully before the seller moves those funds. In order to do that, go to your paypal receipt, and see the area where it says resolution or dispute payment. Open a dispute and provide them as much proof as possible. Contact PayPal as well and ask them what you need to do to win a dispute. Keep in constant communication with paypal. If you sent the payment by family and friends then unfortunately those funds are lost as you cannot dispute those payments and we strongly advise against sending friends and family payments in the future even if the seller requires it you can easily say no. For more information, please contact PayPal.

    How can I protect myself in the future?
    We strongly advise that you don't conduct business offsite. This is the #1 way scammers attract buyers and sellers is they lure them offsite and then bait them into anything because they have no consequences for their actions. If you did business on site, then disregard this message as the majority of scams are done offsite.

    Dispute the payment in PayPal if the seller is unwilling to complete the delivery. Don't pay direct especially if someone has 0 feedback like this individual did.

    Ok. So to be totally clear. I used the pay now button from YOUR site and used paypall to pay through YOUR site. I did no go off site and wire him the money. So shouldnt the money be in your possesion then? Is that not how this site works?

    I onened the 3way conversation. Shouldnt you be able to see my conversation with HillyJeol? I noticed he was trying to lure me off site and immediately i openend a dispute. I talked to a Makisha about it. Who is that then?

    Pls explain to me!!!!

    Can you actually see this 3way ticket? I hit cancel order the móment i thoughtHillyJeol was a scammer. I got a message that the seller needs to agree and also has to select the cancel order option. HillyJeol said this option not in his dropdown list (yeah right)

    Also i selected the option: request MM support (or something similar) and al i got was an automated reply that didnt help

    The 3-way ticket can ONLY be seen by the people who are inside it that means You, the seller and @Middleman can only see it.

    You should be happy you didn't send money to this seller directly or your money would never have been refunded.

    I've sent this thread to middleman directly. This sale has been canceled and the seller is banned.

    Im as calm as can be. No worries. Also....i chose a 14 dollar ticket to get acqainted with your site. First thing.....a scam.

    I believe i followed all the steps to be taken to the letter. The reason i keep messaging is because i been told to do things i ve allready done. Which i explain and then am told to do again. Pls....take time to read whats been written before answering.

    Those are automated replies. If you followed the automated replies steps, you've done everything there is to be done. Now all you need to do is wait for the refund. It's not an instant process.

    You should buy off trusted individuals, people with 0 feedback and barely any posts are usually scammers. You went with the cheapest price and they're usually scammers.

    If you buy off trusted individuals, you won't have to go through these annoyances. This market is flooded with scammers.

    Ok. So im trying to find another seller. I hit the "best reviewed" on top button

    Immediately i find a person that also talks about the "friend and family" option and to contact him on the line app.

    Shouldnt you remove this seller?

    Also. What is the best way to find a trusted seller?
